Georgia Tech College of Architecture Advanced Wood
Products Laboratory and Wood Components Manufacturers Assn., with
the support of the Omni Hotel-based Panel & Engineered Lumber
International Conference & Expo, will host a pre-conference
Tour of Mills day on Wednesday, February 6 and a full day meeting/lab
event on Thursday, February 7 entitled “Globalization/ Marketing
Impacting Design & Manufacturing Competitiveness with CNC
Technology.”
The fee structure for these events is separate from the Panel
World conference.

AWPL for panel processing, machining, edgebanding, sanding and
specialized machine centers in static display. Machine arrangement
to complement Nested Based Manufacturing and Cell Based manufacturing.

construction, flexibility, ability to change to meet product
&market changes. SCM Group representatives on hand.
Research, Student Project displays and design applications as
applicable to the morning presentations by Georgia Tech researchers
and student design work. Applied applications of panel, engineered,
solid wood and plastic materials utilizing Digital Design direct
to CAD CAM CNC manufacturing.
