FOREST PRODUCT SOCIETY POSTER SESSION AT PANEL WORLD EXPO

A Forest Products Society Poster Session will be held in conjunction with the new Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo, February 7-9 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in downtown Atlanta. The conference and expo is sponsored by Panel World magazine.
Setup for the poster session is Thursday afternoon, by 4 p.m., February 7, and posters will remain up through mid-day Saturday, February 9.

The poster session will consist of work by individuals who are stationed at a booth similar to a typical exhibit booth. Each space will contain a draped table and a 4x8 foot posterboard on which an abstract, key points, conclusions, charts, and diagrams are posted. The conference and expo will be held in various sections of the Omni Hotel, and the poster session will have immediate access to some of those functions.

If you believe you have technical materials suitable for a poster presentation regarding the worldwide structural and non-structural wood-based panel, engineered lumber and related secondary, value-added and furniture component industries, please contact the Forest Products Society at 608-231-1361, ext. 215 or carol@forestprod.org. No commercial materials will be accepted. Poster presentations will be accepted based upon a review of their suitability to the objectives of the conference and the availability of space.

For each poster entry, a $250 conference registration fee (discounted from $495) will be required from the student who enters the poster; this fee also gains the student admittance to conference and food functions during the event. Only one discounted student fee is offered per entry; any remaining student associates and all non-student participants must each pay the full conference fee of $495 up to December 10, and $550 after December 10.

Deadline for submissions to FPS is January 10, 2008.
